About Ducklife 4

Duck Life 4 puts you in charge of a scrawny little duckling with a big goal: become good enough to win the Duck Life Derby. You don't control a duck directly through a race track from the start — you spend most of your time in short training mini-games that build up its stats, then send it out to actually compete once it's ready.

There are five skills to train: Running, Swimming, Flying, Climbing and Jumping, each with three different mini-games so the training doesn't feel like doing the same drill over and over. Every session raises that stat a little, up to a cap of 150, and your duck's race performance is a direct reflection of how balanced (or lopsided) your training has been. Prize money from races lets you buy extra ducks for your team, each of which can be trained toward its own strengths, so later races become as much about squad-building as about any single duck's stats.

Controls

  • Up arrow — jump (Running) or dive up toward the surface (Swimming)
  • Down arrow — dive down (Swimming)
  • Left / Right arrows — steer (Flying, Swimming, Climbing)
  • Mouse — menus, shop and duck selection

On touchscreens, tap, swipe or drag instead of using the arrow keys.

Tips

  • Don't max out one skill and ignore the rest — race courses mix terrain, so a duck that can only run is stuck once the track goes to water or sky.
  • Spend early winnings on more training time rather than cosmetics; a stronger duck earns money faster than money buys you anything else early on.
  • If a mini-game is going badly, back out and try a different one for the same skill instead of grinding a version you're bad at.

It's a relaxed pick-up-and-play loop that suits short sessions — a few rounds of training, one race, done — rather than one long sitting.

Ducklife 4 FAQ

What skills do I need to train?
Running, Swimming, Flying, Climbing and Jumping. Each has three mini-games, and every skill maxes out at level 150.
Can I have more than one duck?
Yes. Prize money from races lets you buy additional ducks, each trained separately, so you can build a team with different strengths.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes, tap, swipe or drag to control your duck instead of using the arrow keys.
Do I need to win every race to progress?
No, but stronger stats make later races much easier, so it helps to keep training between races rather than rushing ahead underprepared.
