ColorUp is a browser skill game built around one tightly-timed idea: your ball won't stay one color for long. As it climbs from platform to platform, its color keeps cycling through the level's palette, and the only platforms safe to land on are the ones that currently match. Land on the wrong shade and the climb ends there.
A session plays fast. You drag the ball left or right in short bursts, reading the platform layout a beat ahead of where the color cycle will be by the time you land. Early levels are forgiving, single platforms with plenty of margin, then things tighten up as the palette grows and platforms bunch closer together, turning quick color-reading into the whole test.
Controls
Click or tap and drag anywhere on the screen to move the ball horizontally. There's no keyboard control — the whole game runs on that one drag motion, so the skill is in timing it rather than in complex inputs.
Tips
- Watch the ball's color a moment before committing to a platform — reacting after you've already started the drag is usually too late.
- If the layout gives you a choice, aim for the platform that will match once you actually land, not just the nearest one.
- On tight clusters of platforms, several small controlled drags beat one long sweep — overshooting ends the run just as fast as the wrong color does.
It's a good fit for a quick round between things — no downloads, no accounts, just open it in the browser on desktop or mobile and start climbing.
