Car Drawing Game hands you a blank canvas and challenges you to engineer your way through a series of physics-based obstacle courses. Instead of picking a pre-made car from a garage, you use your mouse or touchscreen to literally sketch the shape of your vehicle and attach wheels wherever you see fit. Once you hit play, gravity takes over and your custom contraption must roll, climb, and bounce its way to the finish line.
The beauty of this game lies in its trial-and-error approach to problem-solving. A sleek, low-profile design might easily slip under low-hanging obstacles, but it could get stuck on jagged terrain where a massive monster truck with huge wheels would shine. Because you can instantly reset and redraw, experimenting with ridiculous shapes or highly specialized designs is the most entertaining way to figure out each level's specific solution.
Controls
The drawing interface is straightforward and designed for quick iteration:
- Draw Body: Click and drag (or use your finger on mobile) to draw a single continuous line that forms the frame of your car.
- Add Wheels: Tap or click anywhere on or near your drawn frame to place circular wheels.
- Drive: Hit the play button to activate physics. In some versions, you can use the arrow keys or on-screen buttons to accelerate forward or backward.
Tips
- Balance is everything: A car that is too tall or has wheels placed too close together will immediately tip over backwards on the first steep hill. Try to keep the center of gravity low and the wheelbase wide.
- Size matters: Large wheels can roll right over small potholes and jagged rocks that would trap a smaller wheel. However, overly large wheels can also weigh down your vehicle, so find the right proportion for the terrain.
- Iterate quickly: If your vehicle gets stuck or flips over, do not just hold the accelerate button hoping for a miracle. Hit the reset button immediately, tweak the design of the frame or the placement of the wheels, and try again.
