Candy Riddles is a match-three puzzle from Vanuplay Innovations that borrows the familiar swap-and-clear formula but builds its own set of tricks on top of it. Rather than just chaining threes for points, each level introduces a specific twist — a candy that only unlocks after a longer chain, an obstacle that needs a particular match shape to clear, a board layout that forces you to plan two or three moves ahead instead of taking the first match you see.
Early levels teach the basics quickly: line up three or more same-colored candies and they clear, dropping fresh candies down to fill the gaps. The game rewards bigger matches with special candies — for example, matching five in a row on some levels produces a rainbow cake that wipes out every candy of the matched colors at once, which is often the fastest way past a level that looks stuck. With over 2,200 levels, the difficulty and gimmicks keep shifting long after the opening stretch.
Controls
Mouse only: click and drag a candy into an adjacent space to swap it. A swap that doesn't create a match reverses itself, so there's no penalty for testing a move.
It's a pick-up-and-play puzzle game — good for short sessions between things, and deep enough in level count that it holds up for players who like grinding a long puzzle ladder.
