About Brain Test Allstar

Brain Test All-Star is a riddle game that plays against your assumptions on purpose. Each level looks like a normal puzzle — move this, tap that, count something — but the actual solution is usually hiding in a detail the level deliberately misdirects you away from. It's less about logic chains and more about reading the screen literally instead of the way you expect a puzzle to work.

The game strings its riddles together with returning characters from the wider Brain Test series — Agent Smith, Monster Hunter Joe, Uncle Bubba, Doctor Worry and Tom the Cat all show up with their own short runs of levels, and a scoring system tracks how quickly you spot each trick.

Controls

  • Mouse cursor (or finger on touch devices) to select, drag and move objects on screen

Tips

  • If a level seems too easy for how it's phrased, it usually is — check for an object you can drag or tap that isn't obviously part of the puzzle
  • Read the exact wording of the question; these riddles often hinge on a literal interpretation rather than the "obvious" logical one
  • Try tapping or dragging things outside the puzzle's main scene, not just the highlighted objects

Good for short bursts — a level or two at a time — rather than one long sitting, since the trick-based format works best when you're not already fatigued from the last riddle.

Brain Test Allstar FAQ

How do you play Brain Test All-Star?
Use your mouse cursor, or your finger on touch devices, to select, drag and move objects on screen to solve each riddle.
Why do the puzzles feel like trick questions?
They are by design — most levels misdirect you toward an obvious but wrong approach, and the real solution is usually a literal reading of the question or an object outside the highlighted scene.
Do I need to have played the earlier Brain Test games?
No, each level is self-contained. All-Star reuses characters from the series but doesn't require knowledge of earlier entries to solve its riddles.
Can I play Brain Test All-Star on mobile?
Yes, it runs in the browser on desktop, phone and tablet with tap-and-drag controls in place of the mouse.
