Blob Drop is a watermelon-style merge puzzle built on the same idea as the Suika games that made the genre popular: drop a blob into a cup, and when two blobs of the same size touch, they combine into the next size up. There's no timer and no lives to lose outright — just a container that fills up faster than you'd like, and a running tally of how far you can push your luck before it overflows.
The tension comes from the queue. You always know what's dropping next, but not what's coming after that, so every placement is a small bet on how the next few blobs will line up. A lucky run of matching sizes can clear half the cup in one cascade; a run of mismatches leaves you stacking odd shapes against the walls and hoping for room.
Controls
Move the mouse left and right to line up the blob, then click to drop it. On a touch screen, drag to aim and tap to release.
Tips
- Keep your biggest blobs low and centered — they're the hardest to move once the cup fills up, so give them a stable base early.
- Don't drop on autopilot. A blob placed against the wall "to get it out of the way" is usually the one that blocks a merge two moves later.
- When two viable merges are available, take the one that clears more surface area, not just the bigger point value — open space is worth more than the score bump when the cup is getting tight.
It's a short-session game by design: a few drops, one collapse, try again. Good for a quick break rather than a long sit-down.
