Alien Invaders (.io) drops you into an agar.io-style growth arena, but instead of blobs you're flying a small UFO. You start out weak, and everything on the ground and in the sky is either food or a threat depending on how big it is compared to you.
The loop is simple to learn: fly low over the map and beam up whatever you can fit — cars, street furniture, cows, even players' UFOs — to grow your own ship. The catch is that any UFO bigger than yours can do the exact same thing to you, so the early game is mostly about picking off small, safe targets and staying clear of the giants until you've grown enough to compete.
Controls
- WASD or arrow keys — move your UFO
- Mouse — aim your tractor beam; hover it over a target to abduct it
Tips
- Your beam only abducts things it's big enough to fully cover, so line it up on smaller targets rather than trying to grab something oversized.
- Sweep the edges of the map first — dense clusters of cars and street objects are safer early feeding than open ground where bigger UFOs roam.
- Treat every UFO larger than you as a threat and every one smaller as a target; size is the only thing that decides who eats who.
It plays in short, replayable rounds and suits anyone who likes the same grow-and-avoid tension as .io games, just reskinned as a flying-saucer abduction sim.
