Word Wipe is a race-the-clock word search: letters fill a grid, and you drag across any adjacent tiles — up, down, sideways or diagonally — to spell out real words of three letters or more. Every word you complete vanishes from the board, and the tiles above it drop down to fill the gap, opening up fresh letter combinations you couldn't reach a moment ago.
The catch is the clock. Each level gives you 120 seconds to clear a set number of rows, so you're not hunting for the single longest word on the board — you're clearing tiles fast enough to keep the row count moving before time runs out. Finish a row and the requirement steps up, and finishing a level early banks a bonus bomb that wipes out a 3x3 chunk of the board, which is often the fastest way to dig out of a letter-poor patch of the grid.
Controls
Click and hold on a starting letter, then drag through the letters to build the word — you can change direction mid-drag, so a word doesn't have to run in a straight line. Release to submit it.
Tips
- Short three- and four-letter words clear tiles just as well as long ones, and they're faster to find when the clock is close to zero.
- Clearing near the bottom of the grid does more for your row count than clearing scattered letters near the top.
- Save an obvious word for when you're stuck — spelling it late still gives the same cascade and can open up a chain of easier follow-up words.
It suits short sessions where you want a quick puzzle fix rather than a long sit-down game — a level rarely runs past two minutes.
