Takeover Game

Takeover is a mouse-only real-time strategy game from IriySoft. You start with a single town and grow it into a small empire, training soldiers and sending them out to capture neighboring settlements one at a time.

The unit roster is a classic medieval mix: swordsmen for front-line melee, archers to soften targets from range, knights for heavier pushes, and a few unit types beyond that. Each town or castle you take becomes a new base to train from, so the map slowly shifts from enemy-held to yours as you advance.

Controls

Everything is done with the left mouse button — select units, choose what to train, and click to attack or move. There's no keyboard involved.

Because it's built entirely around mouse clicks, Takeover plays best on a desktop or laptop rather than a touchscreen.
