Poor Eddie, from developer GameTornado, is a puzzle-platformer with a twist: you never touch Eddie himself. He's stuck walking, falling, or getting flung wherever physics takes him, and your job is to click the buttons, levers, cannons and contraptions scattered through the level to steer him around spikes, TNT and saws toward the finish.
Because every level is really a Rube Goldberg machine waiting for you to press the right thing at the right moment, sessions are short and trial-and-error friendly — Eddie's deaths are quick, cartoonish, and never punish you with a long reload. Figuring out the one button press that saves him is most of the fun.
Controls
Mouse or touch only: click or tap the interactive objects in the level — buttons, levers, trampolines, lifts, cannons — to trigger them. You're never clicking or dragging Eddie directly, only the machinery around him.
Tips
- Scan the level before touching anything. Most levels only work if you trigger contraptions in the right order, not the first one you spot.
- If Eddie dies, restart is instant — treat every attempt as free information about what a lever or trampoline actually does.
- Watch Eddie's momentum after a launch or fall; some solutions rely on timing a second trigger while he's still mid-air.
It's a good fit for quick, low-pressure sessions where a bit of slapstick failure is part of the appeal, not something to avoid.
