Grow Cube is a turn-based puzzle game where every click is a bet on the future. You place ten different objects onto a small floating cube, one at a time, and each object grows or reacts based on what's already there and what order it arrived in. Put the water tank down before the seed and you get a garden; put it down after, and the seed shrivels. There's no timer and no way to fail outright — you can keep replaying the same handful of moves until the sequence finally clicks.
The real game is the guessing. Ten objects means a huge number of possible orders, and only one path maxes every object out at once for the true ending. Most sessions end with two or three objects short of full growth, which is the game nudging you to try a different order next time. It's slow, deliberate, and rewards noticing small details — a plant that only sprouts if the ground is wet first, a machine that only works once something else is already built.
Controls
Left click to pick up and place an object on the cube. That's the entire control scheme — no keyboard, no timing, just choosing what to place and when.
Tips
- Restarting is free and instant, so treat each attempt as a hypothesis about the order, not a final answer.
- Watch what each object does to its neighbors on the cube's faces, not just the one it's placed next to.
- Objects that look "finished" early are often not maxed out — check their final size before assuming an order worked.
- If an object shrinks or fails to grow, that's information about ordering, not a dead end — note it and rearrange your next attempt.
Good fit for a quiet, unhurried session where you'd rather puzzle out a sequence by trial and error than react in real time.
