About Dadish

Dadish is a short, cheerful platformer about a radish who happens to be a father, working through a garden and beyond to track down his missing kids. Each level is small and self-contained — get from the start to your child, avoid the spikes and enemies along the way, and the level's done. There's no health bar to manage, just careful jumps and a bit of trial and error as you learn a stage's layout.

The pace stays light throughout: levels are quick to retry after a mistake, so a death costs you seconds rather than progress. It's built around that rhythm of learning a short stretch of platforming, dying to a spike you didn't see, and trying again immediately.

Controls

  • WASD or arrow keys to move
  • Spacebar to jump — Dadish can double-jump, so a second tap in mid-air gets you extra height or distance

Tips

  • Save the double-jump for gaps and hazards rather than using it out of habit — timing the second jump matters more than jumping early.
  • Most deaths come from spikes just past a landing spot, so look at where you'll end up before you commit to a jump, not just the jump itself.
  • Levels are short enough that memorizing a layout after one failed attempt is often faster than trying to react on the fly.

It suits short sessions well — the kind of game you pick up for five minutes and clear a handful of levels before putting it back down.
