Court Kings is a fast one-on-one 3D basketball game built by solo developer Andre Elias — his first game published on Poki. Two players share a single hoop for a short match: drag to move around the key, drive toward the basket, then hold and release the shoot button to let the ball go. Time the release well and it drops clean; rush it and you'll clank it off the rim.
The same button doubles as a block when you're on defense, so good positioning matters as much as your shot. Play a quick round against the computer, pass the keyboard for local two-player matches, or search for a stranger online when you want a real test — there's also a tournament mode that works you up through a bracket of local players toward a championship match.
Controls
- Drag to move your player around the court
- Hold and release the shoot button to take a shot
- The same button blocks when your opponent has the ball
Tips
- Watch the shot meter instead of firing the instant you stop — the game tracks precision and quality separately, and a rushed release rarely counts as clean
- Remember the shoot button doubles as your block — keep track of who has the ball so you're not tapping shoot on defense
- Try Practice or a match against the computer before jumping into Online — it's a good way to get a feel for shot timing before facing a real opponent
It plays best as a quick pickup game rather than a full basketball sim — a few short matches are enough to feel it, and it's especially fun with a second player on the same keyboard.
