In Blumgi Castle, you guide a plump, bouncing protagonist through a series of treacherous medieval fortresses. Instead of the standard running mechanics found in most platformers, your movement relies entirely on charging up leaps and letting physics do the rest. The longer you hold the jump button, the further you will launch yourself into the air.
Each room is a self-contained obstacle course littered with spinning blades, fire pits, and awkwardly placed platforms. You have to gauge the exact tension needed to arc over dangers without accidentally catapulting yourself into a spike pit on the side. Expect to tumble, roll, and slide after you land, as momentum plays a huge part in whether you stick the landing or fall into the abyss.
Controls
Your journey through the castle relies on a single button:
- Left Mouse Button / Spacebar (hold and release): Charge your jump and launch into the air.
- A / D or Left / Right Arrows: Change the angle of your jump while aiming.
- R: Quickly restart the room.
Tips
Patience is key. The swinging axes and moving platforms have clear patterns, so take a second to watch their rhythm before you leap. Try not to overcharge your jumps—sometimes a tiny hop is all it takes to clear a short gap. If a direct path looks impossible, see if you can ricochet off a nearby wall to drop onto your target from above.
