Tips

• Adopt a diagonal checkerboard search pattern: Instead of firing randomly or in solid blocks, target coordinates diagonally. This method maximizes coverage and ensures you will intercept even the smallest two-unit patrol boat with fewer wasted shots.
• Spread your fleet out: Avoid grouping your ships close together. Clustered fleets are easy targets once a player finds the first ship, as adjacent missed shots will likely reveal neighboring vessels.
• Hunt systematically after a hit: Once you register a hit, fire at the immediate adjacent squares (up, down, left, right) to determine which direction the ship lies, then target that line until the vessel is completely sunk.
