Connect 4 Online Multiplayer is a straightforward take on the classic drop-a-disc board game: two players alternate turns dropping colored pieces into a 7-column, 6-row grid, and the first to line up four of their own color in a row — across, up-and-down, or diagonally — wins. There is no timer and no extra mechanic layered on top; the tension comes entirely from reading the board and blocking your opponent before they see the win coming.
You can play against the built-in bot for a quick solo round, or open a real-time match against another person online. Because a piece always falls to the lowest open space in whichever column you pick, most of the skill is in setting up a second, hidden threat while your opponent is busy blocking the first one.
Controls
Mouse or touch only — click or tap the column where you want your piece to drop. There is no keyboard control scheme.
Tips
- Try to build two possible four-in-a-row threats at once; a single threat is easy for your opponent to block.
- Controlling the center column gives you more ways to connect four than either edge, so it is usually worth claiming early.
- Watch for diagonal threats specifically — they are the easiest to miss since the pieces are not stacked in an obvious line.
It's a good pick for a short, focused match against a friend or a quick game against the bot when you want something with real strategy but no long time commitment.
